Here's a scenario: You have a good strong faction with tons of items at the f home and here comes a new guy that just joined your faction, and takes all your things because as of now, chests can be opened to anyone, even if you're not in that faction. I believe that people should be able to lock their chests if in faction territory to other faction members with a command such as /f private and then be prompted to right click on the chest they want locked. This would prevent faction hoppers stealing all your valuable items that you just worked hard for. Another idea would be also with private chests in general. As of right now, there is no way to lock a chest. At. All. Say I'm by myself at my home away from the faction, I would want my chests to be locked with a simple command such as /private or /lock to stop others from looting my stuff. Now this could be limited to let's say 1 or 2 chests for regular members and could be expanded for donors.

In addition, it would encourage members to donate for additional protected chests. This benefits everyone.

I honestly hate this idea. Raiding would be literally impossible; it's already difficult enough with ender pearl clipping disabled. Secondly, if someone new in your faction raids you, it's your own fault for letting him in. I'd just recommend becoming a Donator or Elite, so you can set multiple homes, and do not set a faction home. Set a home at your base, and teleport anyone you trust into the base to share it with you. I vote no.
